Everything about this cruise was exceptional starting with boarding. We drove from Maine to Boston and arrived at Black Flacon about 10:00 a.m. -- we were onboard the Jewel BEFORE 11:00 a.m. - absolutely unheard of.

We had as balcony cabin - location perfect - cabin a little smaller than we are used to but more than adequate for our needs.

We left Boston and sailed into very unstable water for our first sea day. The meet and mingle schedule for this morning was down on attendance as many folks were sick in their cabins. It was little hard to navigate about the ship for the day but doable. Must add, if we didn't get sea-sick in this 24-hour period I dare say we are hearty and seaworthy.
