Neither my husband nor I had ever been on a cruise before, so you can understand that we were a little nervous about our vacation, but this nervousness left us even before we dissembarked in Miami.

The Valour is a magnificent ship with fanastic facilities. One of our fears that we would feel that the ship was too small, and that there would be too many people. Not at all. Not sure if it is the layout of the ship or the season, but we were extremely comfy and never once felt crowded.

We liked Cozumel, Belize and Cayman Islands - and we made sure that we partook in tours throughout the trip... we loved Roatan. The island's people are generous and friendly and we just had a wonderful time there. We decided to book our excursion on the internet, instead of through the cruise ship (again, we didn't really want to be in a huge group) and found a website called Tropicalrez.com - they do all sorts of tours and activities on the island. We chose to do a canopy tour and a tour of the island. They assigned us a tour guide called Alvin, who is a total character! We laughed and laughed all through the day. Alvin knows his stuff and is a very proud islander - thanks Alvin for making the trip so special for us.
