Prinsendam - South Pacific
This is a smaller ship but really Delightful! I Think with a Smaller Ship, It's More Intimate!!
We visited the East Coast, Caribbean, Panama Canal, S America, Easter Island, Society Islands (Moorea, Tahiti, Bora Bora), Christmas Island, & 4 Hawaiian Islands. Ended in San Diego.
The rooms were quite large, I thought. For 1 of the lowest price cabins, there were the twin beds, couch, corner curio with refrigerator in cabinet below the shelves & 4 shelves above with TV & dressing table with drawers & hair blower! There also was a large bathroom with tub & large vanity & 2 med. cabinets & a walk-in closet with shelves & 3 rods!
The Shows were Spectacular! The Service was Fantastic! You couldn't ask for a more Friendly & Helpful Crew! I chose late dining & had the Greatest Tablemates!! There were 8 of us & never a dull moment! Lots of Bantering with each other & the Waiters! They felt like Family & we all More looked out for each other!
There were Terrific Craft Classes, Lectures, Dance Classes, Movies, Shows, etc & I enjoyed the music in the Explorers Lounge each evening after the Stage Show! It has nice leather chairs, couches & small dance floor & the music was Outstanding!!! Grand Piano, Cello & Violin! The Violin Player could make that Violin Talk!!
In the Lido Lounge there were waiters lined up to carry your tray & set you up wherever you wanted to sit! They would check on you & bring you anything & constantly bring more coffee, etc. Less
