Carnival Spirit to Alaska was an excellent cruise for families.

This was my family's third cruise. The first two cruises were Disney to the Eastern Caribbean and RCCL Explorer of the Seas to the Western Caribbean. In my opinion, these set a very high standard by which to judge other cruises. Carnival Spirit from Vancouver to Whittier was similarly excellent.

My children, 8 and 11, loved the Camp Carnival programs. They spent a few hours doing camp activities most days. Having organized children's activities that my kids like is one of my keys to a good cruise. This freed up time for my wife and I to use the ship's fitness center and enjoy its various clubs/lounges.
