Ship Facts: Carnival Glory Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Glory Deck Plans
Carnival Glory - Eastern Caribbean

My boyfriend and I cruised on the Glory September 3-10, and had a GREAT time. We were surprised about a week before when we looked up our cabin number online, and found that our balcony room was upgraded to a suite!!!

We were among the first to get on the ship being in the skippers club, and immediately went to our room, it was amazing. I had sailed before, and was in an inside stateroom...what a difference! Our room steward, Roy was great. He tended to our every need.

Our first port of call was Nassau, it was raining a bit, and we just got off the ship and shopped. Our second was St. Thomas, we took a cab to Magens Bay. The beach was absolutely amazing. After the beach we went shopping again and got some great deals with the street vendors. The last port was St. Maarten, we took an excursion through the ship snorkeling over a shipwreck. That was a lot of fun, except for the fact that the water was very rocky, and some people on the top deck of the boat got sick over the side (luckily we were nowhere near it!).

We thought that the food was great, the service was great. We even joined in on some of the pool games they offered, and met a lot of great people.

The only bad thing that did happen to us was once we got home and looked at our bank statement and found out that Carnival charged us double!!! It took a little time to get it all figured out, but everything was fixed in the end. I will say one thing, the people who work for Carnival in customer Service over the phone are not nearly as nice as all of the people on board.
