Sail Date: Sep 2005

Nine ladies left husbands and children behind and sailed on the Fascination 23 Sep for 3 nights.

Transfers: we chose to use Super Shuttle as it was the least expensive and the most direct.$55.00 each way plus tip for all of us.

Embarkation: We arrive at POM at approximately 10:00am. We proceeded to start the check in and the CCL rep. made sure that we all had our sign and sail forms ready. Since we all had our own sign and sail accounts, we filled out new forms to distinguish the credit cards to be used on board by CCL. The waiting area is quite small, but we were only there for about 45 minutes. There were 3 weddings on board that day, so the wedding parties were accommodated first. Next step was to move to the upstairs lounge. After passing our hand luggage through the Security X-ray and having our pictures taken we were ready to go up stairs to wait our turn to board. The CCL reps boarded the wedding parties first. All other passengers must be seated before they will board and they board from front to back. It went quite smoothly. Since we were first onboard, we didn't get out photo taken, so if that is important...don't board first!! Once on board, we made our way to our staterooms on the Upper deck Aft. All nine of us were cross referenced, so we stayed together and dined together.
