WOW, that's all I can say. We departed Vancouver on the 7 day round trip. Ports of call were Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. Between Skagway and Ketchikan was the Glacier Bay tour. This was the wife's and I first ever cruise and I really didn't want to go. BOY WAS I GLAD I DID. I've never had so much fun and the views were superb. Of course Carnival spoiled us right off because we booked inside cabin and the upgraded us to Obscured view. If that's obscured Ill eat my hat. Our cabin was above the Lifeboats so I could touch the top, but it didn't preclude a view. In fact if you look at the picture here we were just above the 2nd lifeboat shown on the starboard side.

The Ship was fantastic and the crew went above and beyond for service and friendliness. Our Cabin Steward Rick was pleasant and always gave us top notch service. Ovidiu our Waiter spoiled us rotten in the dining room

Ports of call were just right IMHO and we found we went back to the ship early very tired. We didn't order any trips on the boat, we got our own and SAVED A TON on that. We bought in Juneau the Tram/Mendenhall glacier combo at the tram and it was 35 each. The ship I think it was 60 each. At Skagway we got the train on our own for 80 each and it was 140 on the ship. AND we were on the same train as the rest of the ship.
