We just returned from this cruise and I made notes so that I could pass on a few tips that might be of help. Let me first say that we thought it was a very good vacation. It's an excellent way to see the islands. If, however, someone has cruised before, they will be somewhat disappointed with the ship and its service but it won't spoil your vacation.
The ship is lovely - not classic or elegant - but still nicely done. We thought it might be gaudy but it wasn't. The cabins are small -- just enough room to walk around the bottom of the bed to get into the smallish bathroom. There is far less storage space, especially the closet which contains twenty hangers in one hanging space plus a couple of shelves. There are four drawers in the room - two medium, two small. We managed however - there were still empty shelves after we unpacked. Each room has a mini-frig that is empty. It would probably hold a six-pack of sodas. Avoid rooms with connecting doors - the walls are thin anyway but the doors make it even easier to hear what's going on in the next cabin. The balcony was great and helped alleviate the small size of the cabin.
The food is generally tasty but the choices didn't blow us away. You get the best food in the specialty restaurants but then you pay for it too.
