Before we sailed, I read the reviews on this board. They were a great help. And everything was true. The good and the bad.
The good--our cabin was an ocean view on the Main Deck. It was the largest cabin we have ever had--including balconies. We loved the space. The cabin service was excellent. We posted a 'please clean our cabin sign' when we left for breakfast each morning and it was spotless when we returned.
Same at night. The dining room service was great. We sat at a table for eight (I had requested a table for four) and it was marvelous. One elderly couple, one Canadian Couple, one North Carolina couple and one Florida couple—all middle aged. We formed a strong bond and ate together every single night. The elderly couple--who were charming and fascinating people--went to trivia games with us and had a ball. We went to one scattergories game that was so high spirited we had to tone it down. Great fun. We meet some delightful people. I never smelled cigarette smoke. Never. And I was all over the ship. (my husband loves Trivia)
