My wife and I are first time cruisers and went with another couple. We chose Princess for its' reputation of fine quality.
Overall, we had a fabulous time. Embarkation was easy. From the start, we were in our room within 45 minutes. The cabin we stayed in was C223 (Caribe). We had a balcony which WE LOVED and would definitely get again. The views were breathtaking.
This ship offers something for everyone from very active and festive places to little quient nooks to enjoy the breeze and read a good book.
