This was our 15th cruise -9th on RCCL. had a great time.
Embarkation was a breeze, since we are Crown and Anchor members. Went directly to our cabin- (since this cruise was a booked as an after thought-since I got a wks vacation unexpected-we had an inside cabin) which was clean and neat. Our steward Raul came to introduce himself and kept the room in fine order. We went directly to the Windjammer dinning room for lunch which was fine and good every day. We only eat breakfast and lunch one time each in the main dinning room. We did not go to Portofinos on this cruise but have been there on previous cruises, and it is well work the additional $20
Even though this is our 4th cruise to Bermuda it is the first time we were docked on the Kings Wharf area. Ferry to Hamilton was quick and inexpensive. We were saddened that Trimminghams is closing after l60 yrs in business. The Maritime Museum was very interesting(my husband and I love museums.)and watching the Dolphin Quest was entertaining.
One downside was that we like to be seated at a large table (8), which we were -however only one other couple showed up for dinner every night. Even though they were pleasant after 5 days we ran out of things to discuss. I mentioned this to the Head Waiter -why are there not other people here and he said the seats were assigned to other couples however they never came to dinner.
Second downside was the internet was very slow. Aside from this, cruise was great. Went to aquarium bar each nite before dinner since they had a great quartet. The Crown and Anchor cocktail party was small and intimate. We only saw two shows that were so-so but the ice show was outstanding Looking forward to our next cruise to Alaska.
