This was our second cruise on the Caribbean Princess, and we enjoyed it more than the first last October. 2 of our sons came along this time, and had a cabin to themselves. They also enjoyed the cruise as much if not more than us. In fact, we will all be going again, and this time our third son will be going and one of the 2 sons that originally went will be bringing his fiancee along and they will be getting married on the ship.

This time we arrived earlier than last, and we did the transfers from the airport. The cruise company met us at the airport, and we proceeded quickly to the ship. Since it was earlier than last time, we waited on a long line to get through security for about 45 minutes. Once through that though, our check-in went quickly and we were in our room in less than 10 minutes. Our only complaint was that they forgot the robes, but we didn't even say anything - it was no big deal.

We did the traditional seating this time versus anytime dining last time, and it was so much better. We had two waiters who were extremely attentive to our party of 4. They constantly would bring us things to try, and by the end of the cruise they were more like friends than staff. The food was amazing, and we all enjoyed it tremendously. For lunch and breakfast, we only ate in the dining room once - all others were buffet. The buffet is not bad, just not great or same quality as dining room. Read more
