We offer our impressions of our February 2005 eight-night Mexican Riviera cruise aboard this ship. We further address an issue which I have not seen addressed before -- what happens on a cruise ship when one of your traveling party gets sick and is put ashore.

Background: This was our first cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line. My wife and I had been on 7 prior cruises (6 with Royal Caribbean and 1 with Carnival). On this trip we took our 11 month old infant daughter for her first cruise.

Pricing: We got a terrific price on an internet site. NCL seems to run lower on their cabin price, but then they add a "tip" amount to your bill at the end of the cruise. I think it was around $11 per person per day and covers your room steward and dining staff.
