The Itinerary was Black Sea and Beyond, but that's not an option in the drop down menu - because it's a rare and exciting destination just for seasoned travelers - Romania, Ukraine, Sevastopol, Yalta, Turkey - wow!
This was my 6th cruise with HAL, chosen specifically for the itinerary, and it did not disappoint.
We arrived at Athens 2 days early and enjoyed the sparkling city - how the Olympics made them clean the place up! Transfer to Piraeus in a taxi was EUR16, vs $50 pp sought by HAL - why they insist on ripping off their customers with transfer prices I'll never know, and embarkation was the smoothest I've encountered, probably because there are only 600 or so passengers.
