This was our second cruise with RCL, and our first on one of their "MEGA" ships. Check in was hectic but efficent. First noticed that there were very few cruise staff for direction assistance. Found our way to the state room by using their interactice maps. These were very good. State room was ordinary. Wandered about and purchased "Premium Beverage Pkg" seemed like a great value, and it is, but the wait staff ignores you as soon as they see the sticker... no gratuity. This was a problem in every longe and bar with the exception of one.

Had late seating and we only went once. We had asked for a large table and received what is best described as the "kids table" at Thanksgiving. We were set away from the main part of the dining area. Our waiter greeted us and asked if we would like water and a drink. We said yes to both, showed him our cards and he did not come back for over 20 minutes. Tables around our area were getting wine, cocktails, water and bread, we got not even a stare by our waiter. My wife finally went to the head waiter and his attitude was indifferent at best. We stuck it out but did not return to the main dining room for the balance of our cruise. Suggest buying the beverage pkg. but hold your finger over the sticker until you get your order.

Food was very average. Buffet area was very crowded, and virtually no service IE coffee or water refills.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

We did an interior which we always do on short cruises. It was an average interior room. Bathroom, particularly the shower was very small. Smaller than other interior cabins we have experienced.
