Traveled with children

This was our first cruise as a family (2 kids, ages 12 & 16), although I crossed the Atlantic as a child with my family twice on the Hanseatic and Homeric. Overall, we were very happy with nearly every aspect of the cruise and would love to do another.

The service from all crew members in all department left little or nothing to be desired. We ate in 8 of the restaurants and were very happy with the quality and variety of the food. The ship is beautiful and well laid out. The crew takes very good care of the ship in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The Freestyle dining worked well for us, although we didn't realize that you could reserve in the specialty restaurants for the whole cruise (we thought you could just do so for the next day).

The entertainment in the show theater and in the lounges was top notch. It was a bit too loud at first in the Stardust, but that seemed to improve.
