Ship Facts: Liberty of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Liberty of the Seas Deck Plans
Liberty of Seas - would book again!
Embarkation: arrived at 10:30. Checkin was quick but had issues with papers - will get passports for next trip. did have to sit & wait before boarding around 11:30.

Room: superior balcony D1: plenty of room, storage, loved balcony (didnt have that 18 yrs ago when we cruised). Bed was very comfortable. Room 9632 is mid ship at hump so Balcony little larger & 4 rooms from elevator - great location.

Premium bev pkg - was offered last-minute for our cruise. Loved not having to worry about what we were spending & being my DH 50th bday i wanted him to enjoy his beer & shots. Anything we wanted was included: 16oz Budlight aluminum cans , Fosters, miller light, corona & blue moon. also we had Jaeger, frozen drinks of day, amaretto sour, white russian, sangria...was definitely worth getting for our crew.

Meals: Main dining dinner: food ok. Thought selection could have been better. Pork chops & steaks were not great but chicken marsala was very good. Breakfast in Rembrandt was not great...didn't eat there again after 1st morning. Ate at windjammer rest of time and it was good once we figured out what wasn't good. Ordered room service for husbands bday & it was same as windjammer so i knew what to order. Lunch was ok at windjammer...lots of choices. Favorite lunch place was Sorrentos for pizza & made to order salads. Also had sandwich from cafe via room service which was good.

Excursions: booked through non-royal groups & had a blast + much cheaper. Highly recommend cave-tubing.com for tubing & ziplining & our most fun was Cozumel Bar Hop (which RC does not offer). Was worried about tendering at Belize but we made sure we got to 3rd floor earlier than suggested & once line started moving it went pretty fast. We got to belize before 10 am (had said we would not disembark until 9:45 but they let us go early due to crowds forming in hallways.

Entertainment: enjoyed 70s night on promenade & white hot party at pool. Didn't do any of shows. Mainly bar hopped & loved Catacombs when dj was there, Schooner bar with karaoke, & fave was pub with live jimmy buffet-style music.

Disembarking: heard it was nightmare...it was fine till we got off boat. The port was long lines & waiting. What we did to easily get off boat: self-carried luggage, ate breakfast at 8:30, took elevator to 1st floor (it said to go to 3), got in line & went right off the ship.
