I honestly must say we were disappointed with our first Princess Cruise, we were expecting it to be better than Carnival but we were wrong.
Our cabin was very small, dirty carpet, dirty walls, broken fixtures, squeaks and rattles everywhere, dirty glass that was never cleaned on our balcony door and balcony glass below the railing, railing needed to be varnished, balcony flooring also very dirty, bathroom missing grout and significant mold and dirt visible.
entertainment- not great... actually boring, again expected way better.
Movies under the stars- not a great selection of movies (we had a 14 year old with us and the movies for the most part were not appropriate or entertaining even for us!) So many choices of movies you could watch but Princess selected garbage!
Food- presentation was good, taste and selection for dinner was disappointing. we ate in the dinning room and buffet. Breakfast was good in the buffet and room service. Generally had burgers and pizza for a afternoon snack and that also was very good!
Ports of call were good, would of liked to spend some shopping time in Curacao thou but we got in late and everything closed before our tour ended.
Holidays are a special time for us (and for everybody) when family can relax and have fun together; its unfortunate when your holiday is a disappointment!
"ESCAPE COMPLETELY" I can only wish!!!
I most likely will not be be back to travel with Princess!
