Sorry for the delay in my review but you know how it goes. This was our third cruise and it was very enjoyable thanks to help from our Cruise Critic friends kind enough to share information we couldn't have planned it any better.
We drove to Port Canaveral Fri. night in a torrential rain storm and stayed at the Radisson which was very convenient and the shuttle was well worth the stay there(saved us $140 on 2 cars). Also a free breakfast buffet for two.
Embarkation went smooth. we boarded late so our room was ready when we got on. went to the Red Sail to eat. Tipped our steward an extra $10 pp to keep collapsible cooler filled with ice and she did. We carried 2-12 packs of can beer,2-12 packs of Diet Coke in plastic bottles, 2 bottles of vodka, 1-12 pack of bottled water and 1 bottle of rum in our luggage with no problem. It was nice to have drinks in your room and it saved quite bit on our sign and sail card but we did use quite a bit as well. We put $1000 on our account a few weeks before we left and it helped a lot to ease the pain. We had 2 jr. suites side-by-side and they opened the balcony divider the first day. Just call the desk. It was nice to walk from one room to the other at leisure. the rooms were very spacious as we had 3 per room. Beds were very comfortable and shower and whirlpool tub were nice also. Deck 7 turned out to be perfect as we had rooms above and below and no noise from public rooms. Smoke was never a problem anywhere.
