I hope we can warn others before it is too late. We are experienced cruisers and have cruised Carnival's other ships (Glory, Victory, Spirit)and NEVER had a bad time until last week on the DREAM. We found the food in the buffet to be poor in quality and variety, the entertainment was poor to midland (except for one comic and Bob the Piano Man, who was teriffic), and the most annoying announcements about everything, at least four or more times a day. The lounges were always crowded, as was the pool area, there were lines and waits for everything, kids ran around unsupervised, and the romantic, high end feeling of cruising was nowhere to be found. At one point we were without flushable toilets for over 3 hours, our cabin steward was ok, but not overly friendly, or readily available. Room Service was a joke. We were told that it would be a minimum of 45 minutes to 1 hour for any room service at any time.

In fairness, there were some good points on the cruise. Our Matre'd, headwaiter, and staff were excellent (8:15 seating) and the food was excellent. Customer service was friendly, helpful and overall rates an A. The ship was beautiful.

We had been to all three ports and enjoy them all, so that was not a problem. Overall the best way to describe our experience on the DREAM.... IT WAS A NIGHTMARE, and we like to sleep at night!

Cabin 4E

We had an inside cabin, forward, on deck 7 and constantly were wakened to loud music and noice from deck 9. Overall the noisest cabin we have ever stayed in.
