Where to start? Um, didn't appreciate the local folks at the pier yelling at us as they took our baggage. We were trying to figure out where to go and what to do and there were people that grabbed our luggage from our hands and got in our face and told us to move it... Embarkation went smoothly. Got on board around noon but didn't get to our room until after 2pm which we expected so had a nice leisurely lunch as we waited.
I am not sure what they renovated recently as we couldn't find any NEW decor. Seasoned sailors say that rust is a ships worst enemy and it our stateroom and all over there appeared to be a lot of rust. On some decks we saw them just paint over the rust.. Sad...
We had a balcony room on the 8th deck portside. Ok, but kind of small. There was a glass table that took up a lot of room in our room and didn't think to have them move it out.
Room too small. Had to walk sideways around the room. Bathroom was nice size. Plenty of drawer space. Would have liked an outlet in the bathroom as the lite at the desk was too dull to be able to do hair, makeup etc.. Sheets were old. Missed having towel animals on the bed. Bed took up the whole room.
