Hi we stayed at the Double Tree Bahia Mar hotel on Ft. Lauderdale beach for 2 nights prior to the cruise very nice hotel and excellent location 15 minute cab ride to port. Embarkation- We arrived at Port Everglades around 2pm check in was quick and painless!

Cabin: We were in cabin E307 obstructed O.V.on Emerald deck, the life boat goes up about one fourth of the window but still lets in plenty of light. plenty of storage and a small shower. The bed was very hard so ask for egg crate mattress cover.Overall very pleased.

Food:As we all know this is subjective but over all we thought it was very good.We had a table for two in the Botteceli dining room with excellent service. The International cafe was a great place for a snack.Princess pizza is the best at sea.The pub lunch had yummy fish and chips.
