Ship Facts: Celebrity Reflection Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Reflection Deck Plans
Celeb Reflection....a little off
This cruise date is a regular thing of January for us. Last year RCCL Navigator out of New Orleans, Previous RCCL Freedom out of Ft. Lauderdale. This yesr with one other couple who were first time cruisers, last year with 5 couples first time and veteran cruisers, previous ourselves for an anniversary cruise.

The Reflection was an excellent, beautiful boat. Had everything you could ever want ona 3k passenger boat. Balcony cabin was great, cabin service staff great as well. Service there we had grown to expect from other lines and cruises.

Other than that staff sucked. Main dining room waiters, assistants were non responsive, argumentive, almost arrogant. Very disappointing this year with our guests on board. They noticed it as well even though they had no standard set. Buffet deck staff was much better in attitude and courtesies. Bartenders and pool bartenders seem to have the worst attitudes. Would rather walk around or talk with other staff than guests. Very disappointing.

Most surly individual was guy in the retail liquor store. Looked like a drug dealer and acted worse. The ladies in the clothing, jewelry shops were much nicer.

Officers never spoke, looked away as they approached, etc. The last morning on the boat no one including cabin staff smiled. We prepaid our tips and included extra for these folks. It was like you're done, get off. Very disappointing.

We've set our standards by RCCL and thought Celebrity would be same but were surprised and disappointed by only the staff not the boat.

Ports were fine, although we may not get off the boat in PR again, just too nasty.

Embarkation and debark staff and procedures were courteous and we had little waits and no problems.

Only other cruise we've ever been on with worse service was a Norweigan boat in Hawaii with an American staff. Boy, were they bad.

We may or may not give Celebrity another shot. Knowing RCCL to be so much better may make it hard to cruise on another line.
