Ship Facts: Celebrity Eclipse Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Eclipse Deck Plans
Wonderful winter break!
We have been on many Celebrity cruises and always enjoy them. However this one was wonderful but the atmosphere was not as great. It didnThere was just not soul on the ship, the captain was not easy to understand and was absent and the Cruise director Patti was adequate, a great communicator but cold. we were a lot of Elite members , yet the activities were the same as always, nothing original, and less than usual. Also the music through the ship was awful, the band Fully Functionnal was not functionnal at all, no ballroom dancing on the ship ! The celebrity Orchestra was masterful and so was the acsapella group, that was it. We usually have a choice of music in the quiet times, this time it was Perry Grant or nothing. Perry was great but it does get repetitious. Fortunately the entertainment was very good at the shows !!

To be fair, since there was such a large number of Elite, we used coupons for the drinks ( 3 coupons each), so there was no gatering place for the CD and officers to meet at the end of the day. It was fun to be able to use the coupons anywhere but the servers were not happy about the formula and we were lucky to get one drink, we were ready to tip them but there was nobody to tip !

In the dining room the service was excellent and the food very good, our cabin attendant was also excellent so the hotel services are on the ball ! The ocean was also very calm and the weather excellent, no complain, embarcation as well as disembarcation went extra smoothly. We went to Qsine one evening and it was excellent.

The phoographers were awful, the heads were cut and as we exited the ship for the ports they were talking among themselves and we couldnThe enrichment guest speaker, Lisa Didier was the best we have ever seen, the Celebrity Theatre was full !!!

We loved the itinerary but we need more options next year, the 14 day cruise is the same year after year. Please Celebrity a little imagination is needed !!
