Ship Facts: Allure of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Allure of the Seas Deck Plans
Allure Rocks!!
All I can say is amazing! To begin embarkation was very smooth, got to the port at 1pm and we were on the ship within minutes. The allure of the seas photographers will begin taking pictures immediately. Take as many as you want, you will have the opportunity to purchase only if you choose.

Loved our room, balcony room on deck 14 mid ship, port side! Amazing!

On board there was great food and wonderful entertainment (we went to every show and loved them). Book the shows a couple of months before you cruise to ensure you have tickets. Get to all of the shows 15-20 minutes early to get a seat, if you arrive on time or even just a couple minutes early you may not get a seat! Don't miss the welcome parade and farewell parade (loved it!).

First port was Nassau, this port stop is very short. We ended up just getting off the boat and walking around a bit.

Second port was St. Thomas. Must sees are the Mountain Top view (have to try the banana daiquiris) and Magen's Bay (beautiful). Lots of shopping of course. We did an island tour that was a little lame but took us to great places for pictures.

Third port was St. Maarten, this is my favorite port. You can take a water taxi round trip per person for $7, from the pier the boardwalk. From there everything is within walking distance, shopping and the beach. You can rent a set of beach chairs for $20 or less. A bottle of beer on the boardwalk goes for $1-2 ( much better than the price on the ship). There is additional shopping at the pier. A must try is the guava berry daiquiris.

Tips on the ship:

Breakfast: at the wind jammer is busy but great variety, you could also try the breakfast sandwiches at Johnny Rockets (they do not cost extra). You must try breakfast in your room on the balcony(if you have one).

Lunch: skip the wind jammer and head to the Park Cafe (they have make your own salads, paninis and yummy roast beef sandwiches), you could also try the wipe out cafe or solarium bistro.

Dinner: main dining room all the way, service was outstanding and the food was great! If you want to try two different main courses for dinner or two desserts just ask! It's your vacation, you can have as much or as little as you want.

Watch the cruise compass for hours that drinks are on sale in certain bars( a little way to save some cash on liquor).

There is a great sun deck on deck fourteen at the front of the ship, great spot for star gazing at night! A great spot to watch the aqua shows if you don't have tickets on deck 11 at the back of the ship.

Don't buy any jewelry, watches or t-shirts until the last couple days, everything will be on sale. T-shirts for 10 dollars.

When taking the elevator, press up or down. Get on of if there is room and take a ride down before going up. You wont wait as long. Also after dinner walk to the other side of the boat and take the elevator, less busy on that side. Also if you are on deck 5 or 6 take the stairs to deck 7 and catch the elevator.

Take the stairs! You can work off what you ate:)

Disembarkation was smooth and relatively quick!!

Most important tip, a little patience goes a long way! Enjoy yourself and relax!
