We traveled with our daughter and her family, 2 children 7 & 11. We have been on Princess 9 times and this ship did not disappoint!
Food was great in comparison to other ships who boasted "2nd best food on Ocean". Plenty of choices while not going overboard. Steaks and Lobster done to perfection and 2nds if you asked.
Staff in dining room was wonderful, friendly and would go over and above to make your dining experience wonderful.
Entertainment was top notch and each evening it was a pleasure to go see what they had for you. It kept you coming back night after night. We found the early show to be a wonderful addition (they used to only have 2 shows a night, now 3). We would then go to anytime dining after the show and always walked right in.
We had an inside room, knew what we were buying and it too did not disappoint. All the rooms on Princess ships are basically the same. Our daughter's room had the upper berths, big enough for the 4 of them, not large by any sense of the word but plenty of storage and they could still manage to move around for the little time they were in the room,
Kids club was great, and safe. They have a good program to make you feel safe. Not a lot of children on board as we took our out of school for the week but there were plenty for our Grandchildren to engage with.
Drink prices were good, much better than Celebrity. Buy the "Beer Package" prior to sailing. A good value (we each bought 2 of those). Also don't forget Princess lets you bring 1 bottle of wine per person per port back with you which was nice for a before dinner drink each evening.
Dollar for dollar, Princess is the way to travel and gives excellent perks to their loyal return guests.
