stayed the night at embassy suits, got to the ship a little after noon. we were able to board early: short lines. took bags to pool and had lunch. unable to go to rooms until 1:30 i wish i had the kids in their swim suits because they could have swam while we were having lunch.
late seating dining. had a nice dinner every night. did not like the fact that they sell shots during dinner time.
we did not buy the alcohol card, too expensive you need to have at least 6 drinks a day to pay for it. we got a wine card instead. it was 130.00 for 5 bottles of wine.
we went off season so there were not too many kids on board, which was nice (we had 5 with us) some cruises in the past have a lot of kids and they run all over the ship, loud and obnoxious. that was not the case on this cruise.
getting of the ship was easy. it just took a while because there were a couple people that had to go through immigration before we could debark. we went to breakfast in the dining room at 0800 and then waited to get off the ship. we did not get off until 1030. then we had a 12 hour drive home. we parked in long term parking right across from the ship. the porter walked over with us and our bags. it was very easy.
this was a very easy ship to get around. just the right size. we were on the Dream last year and I found it too big and too crowded. water was great, we never felt the boat move. not rocky at all.
