This was our 6th Princess cruise & overall was pretty good. Our cabin on Baha deck was smaller than many others we've had, but perfectly adequate, plenty of storage, but oh dear, they need to upgrade the bathrooms & get rid of the shower curtain! The Balcony also showed signs of wear & tear, however it was very clean & our steward Pepito was so hard working, nothing was to much trouble. The general appearance of the ship was very good.
We enjoyed the food it really was well presented & lots of variety, steaks lobster etc.We had anytime dining so didn't always have the same waiters, they were all really good, offering recommendations each evening. I'm not a big fan of any buffet service restaurant, Horizon Court being no exception, the choices though were good, we didn't use it too often.
The turn around day was a complete shambles, all the excursions were cancelled due to rain, the second cancellation that week!(Aruba cancelled for the same reason). We along with many passengers waited forty minutes in the theatre before being told this & then directed to the dining room for in transit immigration clearance, there was very little information, the shore excursions staff didn't know quite what to do or say!We were then told to disembark & would be allowed back on board immediately. Not the case, customs gave a cursary look at our passports then Princess staff herded in long lines to await re-embarcation. We waited there for an hour and a half! Not what we expected or needed. This cruise was marketed as a 14 day cruise, We were only told after final payment that this was 2 seven day cruises, won't make that mistake again. Princess assured several couples who went to complain, this would be made very clear in future on their UK website.
B737 The balconies on this deeck are slightly smaller & overlook those below.
For us Baha deck was great as we use the stairs all the time to try & offset the extra food & booze. It's two decks up to Horizon court & the decks & four decks to the central area
