There was three couples going together and we left Atlanta on an 8:30 flight with Delta. We arrived Ft Lauderdale around 10:15 or 10:30. Taxi stand just outside baggage pick=up to the left. We split up three to taxi. Short ride to ship, Taxi ride between 13 to 16 dollars plus tip. No problems going on ship. We went up to Lido deck and had nice lunch and our rooms were ready at 12:30. Received bags in room later in afternoon.
The ship was very clean and well maintained. No one complained about the food. Had Brunch two days and was very good. We did't attend any shows. No name entertainment advertised.Problems: The casino has poor ventilation. The smoke around the casino bar was terrible. Our room was 8350 which was under entrance to Lido resterant and is a wood floor. The first night they apparently were restocking bars and breakfast bar above and I could not sleep. I asked the purser for another room and he said there was none but gave me some ear plugs. The noise was not too bad after the first night. Also art storage room is directly across from this room and they load and unload twice each day starting real early in morning. Be sure to ask Cruise Specialist where your room is located. Stay away from 8346-48-50-52. We were VIP and were first off ship at 6:30 am and carried our bags and had early flight. Exceptfor problems stated this is a very nice cruise.
Our cabin was 8350. This is a terrible location. Directly under entrance to Lido restaurant. Wood floor. You can hear sliding chairs and tables day and night. Just someone walking across is very loud. Avoid cabins 8346-48-50-52.These are 4 cat. upgrades. Just tell them to leave you on 6th or 7th floor.
