The cruise was our wonderful trip of a lifetime. We are first time cruisers and it was the best vacation we have ever taken, and can't wait to plan another cruise. New Orleans was a great place to get in and out easily. The trip down the Mississippi was mostly in the dark even though we left on time, but that's what you get at this time of year. The ship was great, it was clean and the crew was great. Our room was clean and our steward, Jose kept it clean twice a day. Some of the bartenders were better than others, but all were great.

We did anytime dining, and I was a little concerned due to some comments left by others. But it was wonderful. We had dinner with other couples some nights and it was nice to meet other couples. The dinner was so nice; I could use that treatment more often. I felt as though I were queen. Food was great and different. We ate in the steak house one night and it is really worth the extra fee. My husband loves his steak and said it was wonderful. There was steak in the dining room every night, and he said it was good, but the steak house was out of this world good. We ate in the buffet for breakfast some days, but mostly ate in the dining room for breakfast and dinner and were too full to eat much for lunch.

We went to the Hasbro games and they were great. We also went to some of the lectures on things to do. We bought 2 of the fun ship coupon books. Our excursions didn't go to the shops in the fun ship coupons, but in Cozumel, we just shopped and used our coupons and got our money's worth out of the book.
