Port of embarkation excellent from Seattle, being a local resident enjoyed the freedom of not having to fly to a port of embarkation. Excellent parking facilities and close to the terminal for ease of off-loading and loading luggage.
This was our second Alaska cruise on Princess having sailed on the Dawn Princess in 1998. The Diamond Princess is a beautiful vessel with superb accommodations. Our mini-suite was excellent although our balcony was exposed to the deck above. Excellent service by the cabin stewart .
The dining rooms were well appointed we ate in all four dining venues,as well as the speciality restaurant Sabbitini's excellent Italian cuisine ,with excellent service by the wait staff. High tea very impressive along with the delicious scones.
