LOVED IT!!! First time cruisers loved the food, attention and service. High winds and some cancellation of activities the last couple of days didn't deter the fun. Made great friends and developed a love for all the islands as well as the cruising.
Things we did wrong.
1.)Should have scheduled and booked shore excursions with Carnival at our island stops. No fun just shopping around the little stores. Carnival waited for folks to get back from those scheduled trips. We left a couple ports a little late because of that (we think, anyway).
2.)Not exploring enough. Should have taken the ship tour at the beginning of the trip instead of counting on others for directions. (got lost too many times)
3.) Missed getting a hamburger and Mongolian BBQ! Face it - just not enough time to eat all the great food they hate. Loved the Crimson dining room and service. Anytime dining was great. Hot Dogs were awesome according to "first mate".
No problem getting to the ship. Stayed at a local hotel with door to door service. Hated leaving after the trip, but glad to be home. Wish the sun would have been with us a little more. Ships medical emergency was handled professionally and caused no interruption is schedule on the way back from last port. Will be doing this again!!
