This was our first X cruise after 4 on RCCL. Overall we really enjoyed it and are already researching future X cruises. We enjoyed the "quieter" atmosphere of X versus RCCL and the dynamics of our fellow cruisers made for a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere throughout.

We enjoyed the perks of Concierge Class, particularly special embarkation/debarkation areas which made the processes faster. Aft cabin was very nice, slightly smaller than RCCL but with a larger bathroom. Our room steward was fantastic, in fact the service throughout the Summit was the best we've ever had, there was just a genuine sense of warm hospitality no matter where we went.

We had the Premium Beverage Package and would highly recommend it, we were quite happy with the wines available by the glass and it covered all the beers and martinis at the martini bar/crush. Sheldon and Jennifer were the best bartenders, they took such good care of us at the martini bar. Our MDR staff were excellent as well (Vincent, Percy and Jelena). We never wanted for wine service and Vincent steered us towards the best menu choices each night. Read more
