Viking River Cruise started out great but the weather forced us to evacuate the ship and finish tour by bus. We left a ship with wonderful accommodations and food and were provided with substandard accommodations and food in hotels and restaurants. Meals were boring, bland and pretty much non palatable forcing us to spend our own money on food that was included in cost of tour. The final hotel was booked for us in Budapest on a small island. This was a Christmas market cruise and they did not offer us transportation into the city the evening we arrived to visit the market or city. We should have been able to dock right in the city and walk and were stranded too far with no offer to get into city. The hotel was outdated and had twin beds....made up as twin beds not combined to make full size. We were now responsible for paying for our transportation to our destination the next day which was also not reimbursed. Therefore an expensive trip incurred more costs which company would not reimburse for. In the end they "gave" us voucher fir credit on future cruise....but expires in one year. Pretty much not usable.....would have to spend thousands on flights and the remainder of the cruise cost. Who profits on this? Yes, Viking River Cruise!

If you have the good fortune to stay on ship...would recommend. However, if anything goes wrong they provide the cheap way out with substandard accommodations and food!

Cabin Review

Nice cabin wish we could have stayed in it!

Wireless offered very poor.
