Ship Facts: Navigator of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Navigator of the Seas Deck Plans
Navigator of the Seas-January 12-19, 2013
Have just returned from a great cruise-Left from the Port of New Orleans and embarkation was a breeze. Have cruised many times in the past and this was by far the easiest and quickest-no waiting-just signed in and off we were to the ship. Just slightly disappointed with the room-had an inside cabin which was standard but the drawers had not been wiped out-actually hair inside some of the drawers. Also the carpet did not appear to have been swept. Two pills were left on the floor and purposely left them to see if they would be swept up. They were on the 2nd day of cruise. After that the room was kept very clean. Have to request ice in room or you will not receive it.

I have to comment there was a sulphur like odor the entire length of cruise inside and outside of our cabin as we walked down the halls.

Was a little disappointed that many on the slots in the casino were not in service the entire length of the cruise.

Dinner in main dining room was very good-Windjammer Cafe was OK-nothing outstanding however the pastries in the coffee shop on the Promenade were very tasty!

Enjoyed many of the evening shows but the ice show was outstanding!

Ports of call were Falmouth, Jamaica(we did not get off the ship), Grand Caymen(7 ships were all in port the same time and shopping in town was a mess-hard to move there were so many people. Last port was Cozumel(did a taxi tour)This was wonderful-about 2 hours and saw a great deal of the island.

Last but not least was disembarkation-VERY EASY. This port of New Orleans and RCCL have really done a great job of simplifying what used to be the worst part of cruising. I would definitely recommend this cruiseline and port.
