My boyfriend and I went on the norweign epic on jan 12th-19th. We have read many reviews prior to our trip but went into our vacation with a open view. We had a unbelieveable time and really cannot say anything bad about the epic. The epic was clean, the staff was very attentive and there was a ton to do.

We got to Miami port on the earlier side due to flying in the morning of our cruise. There were no lines and embarkment was quick and easy. They provided us with a pamphlet of all the activities for that day as well as information on how to make our cruise the best it can be. We waited in a waited area and were on the ship by 12. We looked around did some exploring and got ourselves a lounge chair and parked in the sun for the day. The garden cafe buffet was open as well as the spice h2o buffet.

I will start off by speaking about the food, all i can say is that you will never go hungry. We went to the garden cafe for breakfast and lunch each day. The buffet is huge and has a wide variety of selection. We never found seating to be an issue. We really liked the fact that we were able to eat breakfast and lunch outside. For dinner for the most part we went to the Manhatten dining room. We loved the concept of freestyle dining because we were able to coordinate when we ate dinner around the other activities on board. We enjoyed every meal at the Manhatten dining room. all of the food was flavorful and hot, the waiters will do anything to please you during your dinner experience The first few nights we had to wait about 20 minutes for dinner which is not too terrible, they give you a complimentary class of champagne that you can enjoy at the bar. The speciality dining that we decided to try were La Cucina and the Cirque of dreams dinner. La cucina was very romantic and a great atmosphere, the food was very good. The Cirque show was also great and very entertaining, we definitely recommend it. We bought the standard seats, which we thought were even better than the premium seats because you sit in comfy booths compared to chairs. The view from both seats was the same. All of the specialty dining options are different and unique but definitely not necessary. We were debating trying the ice bar but decided not to considering we would only be in the bar for 15 mins tops and it would have cost 40 dollars for the two of us. Anyway, who wants to be in-17 degree weather on vacation?
