My husband and I booked this cruise for our Anniversary. We decided to try a new port and a new ship versus returning to the Fantasy this trip. Our youngest came along since she was on a school break. Embarkation went smoothly and everyone was very friendly. Headed to lido to wait for our cabin to be ready. After 1:45 the door to the cabins were opened mid ship. We made the walk to the aft to stow our luggage. Our room was not ready and the cabin steward seemed taken back that people were coming to the rooms already. We stowed our bags and checked over our room. Our steward made his way in to put a bottle of water on the counter. During the cruise we never had an ice bucket even when we asked. After we locked items in the safe we noticed we only had 2 life jackets. My husband called the number on the phone(35) and was connected with the head housekeeper. He asked for a life jacket since we only had 2. She argued with my husband that it was there and to check again. He again told her we only had two, not three and there are three of us in the cabin. She was not pleasant and told him the room was marked as done and that he was wrong. She finally agreed to check with the steward.
The cabin itself is large. But once you get going it is loud and you feel a lot of vibration. We couldn't get the room temperature below 70 even with the vent fully open. Vent is super loud too. We also had tiny ants which we told the steward about, but he didn't know what they were. We had them under the tv, vanity and in the bathroom. Food in the room was not an issue. We ate in our cabin one time.
Muster was a mess. People stacked in rows 4 deep for over 30 minutes. Many people showed up long after we were called to assemble holding everything up.
Large aft cabin. Lots of vibrations and engine noise. Room temperature even with vent completely open was 70. Vent was very loud. Tiny bathroom.
