Overall: I was very pleased with this ship! It was kept up very nice, the staff and crew were friendly, and the places to eat were exceptional! For deciding to spend the Christmas holiday away from the family and on a ship, i have to say we made a great choice! Our destinations were Mexico(Cozumel and Costa Maya), Belize was cancled, Honduras, and the Cayman Islands. Being in cozumel on Christmas day was extraordinary, but besides that cozumel is a great port to get some sun, relax, and even learn a lot about different cultures! Every other port was just as fantastic, so much to do, so much to see! But of course what matters the most, is the fact that we LOVED getting back on our ship everyday knowing that every night there would be something new and fun to look forward to! I honestly could not complain about anything!
Food: This was my favorite part about the cruise! They had so many options every single day to choose from! Burrito bar(My personal fav), pizza place, subs and panini's, GUYS BURGER JOINT(which is da bomb!! *watch out 2800 calories/burger*), Fish and Chips, different buffet menu every single day in the red sail restaurant, the dining room which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has IMPECABLE service, and last but not least the steakhouse for dinner with reservations! Everything. Was. Delicious!!!
Staterooms: Luckily, as a past guest (Gold Member) they voluntarily upgraded us to a spa deck balcony stateroom which was to die for! Huge sliding glass door instead of just a door and a window leading out to your balcony, and there was no roof/cover above us which was great for sun bathing or looking up at the clear, blue and beautiful sky! The room was kept up great, more than enough space to spread out and relax, and the beds were very comfy as usual! Such a great relaxing place to come back to after a long tiring day in your destination port! (For those who never book balcony staterooms, i sugest you try to, makes the world of a difference on your cruise vacation!)
Entertainment: The activities on this ship were very creative i must say! For our christmas cruise, they had plenty of shows dedicated to the special holiday, and even had snow, carolors, along with santa clause on the ship chirstmas eve! The shows were so-so, but the parties on the lido deck were phenomenal! The DJ on this ship is great, he knows what to play and knows how to get the party started. As for the days at sea, mostly everyone either shopped or hung out by the pool. Of course there was a party by the pool all day long, so drinks and food were everywhere to be found. The casino was also a great place to do some not-so-serious gambling, if your looking to just have some fun! Other than that id say the days at sea on the Glory are pretty relaxing, but the nights spent on the Glory, are nights you will never forget!
