Overall the cruise was great, nothing to complain about. Celebrity lived up to their reputation.
The embarkation was very smooth and quick, we flew in to Ft. Lauderdale early so we had about a twenty minute wait to board the ship. Once on board we had to wait for our room to be ready but expected that so we had lunch and checked out some of the ship.
Our stateroom was one that was in the bump out area near the elevators and had a balcony. Great location near the game room, we never had to walk down any of the long hallways to our room. Our room attendant did a fabulous job, he left us fresh wine glasses at all times which was great because we carried 4 bottles on and enjoyed a glass of wine on our balcony as we sailed away from most of the ports.
We did the select dining and as always we loved doing it at our schedule. The food was a little better than average but we have had better on other cruise ships and other lines. We dined in the Tuscany Grill (Italian Steak)and it was very, very good as expected since it does come with a price.
The entertainment was about what is found on most cruises these days and was not greatly attended by many cruisers. We only went to about a third of the shows ourselves. I think people are getting board with average entertainment.
We liked the bar at the back of the ship on deck 14, great place to relax.
The ship is in great shape and the staff was friendly and helpful, overall a very good cruise.
