Our cruise on the Carnival Miracle was an excellent vacation. From the time we arrived at the Port in New York City the process for getting on the ship was quick and very smooth. Our luggage was moved quickly by the porters, we queued for identification and were on board within 30-45 minutes.
The rooms were not ready when we boarded so we went up to the Lido deck for a quick lunch. By the time we were done our lunch the announcement that the rooms were ready was made and we proceded to our cabins. We had side by side rooms and immediately went to Guest Services to ask for the separation between the balconies to be removed. That made it very easy for all of our family of 7 to move from room to room.
The cabins are spacious, with ample closet space. The bathrooms are large enough for dressing in. We love cruising on Carnival because they have somewhat larger cabins than other lines.
The activities on the ship were fun, entertaining and we enjoyed a wide variety of triva, dancing, karoake, etc.
The food in the main dining room, Bacchus, was excellent. The soups are very tasty, the desserts were exquisite and the main courses were phenomenal.
The comedy shows were good. Our kids really enjoyed the family shows in the early evening.
Our teenagers LOVED the friends that they made in Club O2...in fact they had barely disembarked and they were adding each other on Facebook and Twitter.
The disembarkation process was extremely well organized. Our deck was called and we proceded thru US customs quickly. This was VERY smooth.
