We drove around 5 hrs to Fly to Fort Lauderdale. We stayed the night before at the BestWestern Plus Inn in Dania. It was a dump, but it was only one night.
We took a taxi early to the ship. We had to wait a long time, but we were in a good possition to get on the ship by going early. It took a long time because of sanitation of the ship from the Norwalk on the previous cruise. So we didn't mind. We did not get sick either.
The ship was nice. We had anytime dinning & got some good waiters, Joy & Cicilio. Our Room was upgraded from inside to upstructed ocean view, which was nice. Our room stewart Mana was very nice. We were also traveling with friends so it was just down the hall from them. The public areas were nice, the only thing was they had a casino & a cigar bar next to it which the smoke wafted out into the Piaza area.
We ate in Michealagello & it was nice. Food was ok. Not great. One thing we did like was that there is a international cafe that has breakfast , lunch & deserts at no extra charge & it was good. There was also 3 days at sea where they served fish & chips in the Wheelers, it was very good. So some variety.
Lots of ports.
Entertainment was just ok, except for the Pianist that was really good, but they only gave him a half hr slot 2x.
Disembarkation was a bit late, but went smooth.
All in all it was a good cruise.
