Princess would do well to compare their suite services to Norwegian Cruise Lines. Princess doesn't offer dedicated butler or concierge services. You would think Princess would provide at least a dedicated butler if not both a butler and a concierge when staying in their largest and finest suite. The room steward on the Princess Caribbean does it all and he doesn't have time to provide the personalized service affordable by 3 separate people (as on NCL). Services were rendered but often by assistants rather than the person we requested them of. Assisted debarkation (as NCL offers)would be a big plus as well. On NCL cruises we have been whisked off the ship through hidden (to guests) passageways. I'm not big on large crowds and the less drama, the better. The biggest disappointment with Princess was the lack of any real quality entertainment. Priority entertainment seating was not offered as well. More cruise lines should copy NCL's Epic, Pearl, Jewell, Pride of America and others in terms of entertainment, suite services and amenities. Overall our cruise experience was very nice but when you've been exposed to true luxury services and entertainment, nothing less is truly satisfying.

Cabin review:

The A750 Grand Suite is very impressive but has a few short comings. Good points: Suite Review: Good Points: Very large (1200 sq. ft. with veranda). Beautiful furnishings throughout with an abundance of marble floors, wall coverings, vanities, etc. Large screen computer monitor (and faster than usual internet connection speed!). Lots of very comfortable furniture. Bad Points: Location - While underway the noise from the engines made sitting on the veranda uninviting to say the least. Also, we discovered the stern is a very bumpy ride in moderate to rough seas.

Port and Shore Excursions

We went to Moomba beach which was reported by several sources as the best place for swimming. The hotels on Moomba have the best strips of beach front and refuse to rent spaces to non hotel guests which made us feel unwelcome. The "public" beach was rocky on entrance. 2 chaises and an umbrella still cost us $30.00 .. We will not return to Aruba.
