Tom and I enjoyed the cruise very much. We had a great Christmas on board.
We were a group of 12 ranging from 3-64. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much and are anticipating this coming Christmas onboard.
We were invited to a vow renewal that took place on board on Christmas Eve. and once again the Hospitality Staff went above and beyond the call of duty.
Our dinner waiter was Sudarmika and Marco. They were great. Dinner service was very good but the lunch and breakfast service became less desirable as the cruise went on. The food was as always Fabulous!!
Our room stewards never came to introduce themselves the entire cruise so I have no idea who they were.
We were unable to dock at Falmouth Jamaica because of the high waves, but the Captain and crew went above and beyond to get approval to go to Montego Bay Jamaica, where the weather was gorgeous and there were no waves. Since we were late getting into port the Captain set it up for us to leave port later than normal. It made for a great day.
In Roatan we went to a little shop called Made in Roatan. I had seen them on the internet and decided since they are a non-profit organization that is helping the people of Roatan that I would bring them some donations. The owners of the shop Debi and Bob Cowen set us up with our own personal tour guide (one of the families they help). We spent 3 hours touring the entire Island and was really impressed with everything that we saw. My grandson's highlight of the day was feeding and holding the Iguanas.
All in all it was a great cruise and we are ready to cruise this coming Christmas on the Divina.
