We are experienced cruisers. Did this exotic itinerary with friends who we hook up with every two years.

Embarkation good- no issues. Rooms were ready within an hour which is quicker than what we are accustomed to. Room Steward was ok but not overly attentive. Never called us by name.

Had 2 day in most ports which was good considering the itinerary. Most excursions are a full day which means early mornings and most had a drive of around 1.5- 2.5 hours to get to each way which became tiresome. However if you wanted to see the cities you had no choice. Did not do Hanoi which I heard from some who did the trip that it took them 8 hours of traveling to get there and back. Glad we didn't do that one. All the cities are crowded and hot. Most had populations of 5-10 million. The hawkers are pretty aggressive in some areas and hang around the tourist visitation sites.
