Just returned from the Carnival Glory Eastern Caribbean Dec. 29 - Jan 6. To be very honest, the reason we signed up for this cruise was we wanted a "fun ship" for our 22 and 25 year olds to enjoy New Years Eve. In that respect, it was a success.
For those of you considering this ship, please take note of a few things to keep in mind !
It is old and in need of updating and repairs.
There is NO emphasis on cleanliness such as very few hand sanitizers and restrooms throughout the ships lobby areas !!
Staterooms have very thin walls so bring earplugs.
People are allowed to smoke on their balcony so you may smell it or even have a few cigarette butts land on your balcony as we did !
The shows could certainly be more plentiful !
and as for the food.......well, lets just say that should not be the reason for taking this cruise !!
It is always fun to be with the family and see your kids have a great time meeting others but this particular cruise is not a good idea for those who expect a lot.
