Sail Date: Dec 2012
Cabin: Large Ocean View Stateroom

Second time sailing with RCI - with good memories of the first cruise we went for a relaxing and fun New Years cruise.

Disappointing from stepping on the ship to just before stepping off the ship.

Food - mediocre most of the time with a few good meals. For a vegetarian the meals were at best mediocre.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

The Large Oceanview Stateroom (G) was a joke. The pictures on the RCI site show the larger, rooms with a couch, not the one with the chair crammed in the already small room. As our embarkation was from a cold climate - there was a cold draft from the window above the head of the bed. There was no soap when we arrived in the room and the shampoo/conditioner combination dispenser was empty on the second day. Bring conditioner if your hair needs it. Otherwise you will be dealing with tangled and dry hair for seven days. Our room steward was nice and cleaned the room three times a day. Bring a corkscrew if you bring wine with a cork on board. They are few a far between - unless you want to pay a corkage fee.
