We went on the December 21 Monarch of the Seas and had a great time!
--Loved--
The layout of the ship. It was easy to get use to and we quickly figured it out. No time getting "lost" like we did on our two previous cruises with Carnival and Disney.
All the deck chairs! Always a seat to be found and plenty of areas to relax on deck.
The pools- Nice, spacious. Very cold because it was December but still fun.
The Food court- Liked all the options. Loved to sit back in the Jade area, so nice. Loved the Cheeseburgers, best cruise burger I've had.
The crew members- They were all very helpful and friendly. Erky was very funny and so was Mark. Our waiter and cabin attendant were great too.
Sports deck, ping pong & shuffle board fun.
The coffee and hot chocolate table- made myself my own version of a mocha-yum.
The water!! Sounds funny to add but they had the best water by far over our other cruises. Tasted normal.

The Dining room- The service was great and the food was OK. Thought the dessert selection was weak. The choices were just OK for dinner, didn't eat there for breakfast or lunch.
Shows were hit or miss. Didn't enjoy the adult comedy at all, he just wasn't funny. Loved the comedy magician show on the second night, he was hysterical!!! Didn't do the final show because we're not song and dance type people.
The lounge with the piano bar- the Jimmy Buffet song show was awesome, great crowd.
Karaoke was so funny.
The cabin- While very small, it was still nice! We had 4 bunks and we fit surprisingly well.
Cococay- It was nice, but everything was extra and I thought really expensive. We explored though and had a great time. Too cold for swimming.
--The bad--
The pizza at the pizza bar. Ick, yucky, gross, nasty. Not a fan at all. lol
Nassau- 2nd time. Yeh, won't bother getting off the ship again, if we ever go back.
--Overall--
We had such a great time!!!!! Sad that the Monarch is being sold because we'd definitely go back again if it wasn't.
