Ship Facts: Celebrity Millennium Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Millennium Deck Plans
Millennium tired
We have several friends that have said how much better Celebrity is than Royal Caribbean, but unfortunately this was the opposite experience for us! Barely rates 3 stars!

The waiter for dinner was limited in any conversation, had to remind him and ask for sparkling water with ice, some times I'd remind them about the ice and it still would not arrive. We asked for extra bread with soup and it never arrived, I would say much of the service didn't meet standard service we've had on other ships. On Celebrity they just drop a basket of break vs offering each person a bun which all the other ships do!

We purchased the Premium Drinks package - which was supposed to include 'Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice' when we ordered that at the special juice counter or ordered through a waiter it was a watered down version of concentrate and on one occasion there was powder on the rim!!! On a positive note the Coffee bar was very nice!

The shore excursion were not very good! In Hoi An Cycle trip they only gave us 30 minutes after lunch to wonder around the beautiful town but then made us stop after a 10 min bus ride at a Marble Factory this was not part of the itinerary! In Halong Bay our boat ride was supposed to be 3 3/4 hour and we were back at the ship in 2 1/2 hours while other ships took their time we were on a speed boat in comparison! The Halong Country side Veng Tu mountain - was the newest temple not the cable ride at the top of the temple bit of a rip off!!

Celebrity has a lot to answer for!! Think we'll try a different cruise line now!
