Simply Amazing!

Sail Date: February 2011
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: San Juan

My family and i have traveled on 2 cruises before traveling on the Celebrity Summit, the first one was on the Carnival cruise line, and the other one was o the celebrity Solstice, the Solstice was nice, but the Summit was amazing! In a few words lets just say..."the Celebrity Summit was amazing, and we will be traveling on the Summit again this February 2013."

We bordered from San Juan,Porto Rico.It was quite nice,a fairly safe city were we experienced good food, and a nice hotel,we arrived at the boarding port which was nice and big.We arrived early,in fact 2 hours early! But it was not too bad,as we chatted with a nice couple next to us.Our luggage was then taking aboard the boat and was directed safely to our room. After going through security which didn't take to long, and wasn't as stressful as you would think. We got on board and staff immediately came around with delicious snacks and drinks. We went to our private room, which i guess could have been bigger, but we are More staying in a bigger room this year, anyway the closet was nice and big, with a easy-open security safe, the bathroom included a shower-bath,a large mirror,easy-flush toilet, and ample clean towels. The beds were fairly comfortable, and chocolates were placed on our pillows every night.Room service was nice and quick,The balcony was good, with a table, and two chairs, and ample privacy from siding rooms.

The food was delicious! Some days we went in to the all-included restaurant where there was a decent selection, but the rest of the days we went to an additional-cost restaurant, which was of course very good. For breakfast we either got room service,or we went to the buffet, where they served omelets, bacon, sausages, fruit, yogurt, chewy bars, and more!Lunch we either went to the buffet,or when we were docked we would eat lunch on the island.

Entertainment was nice,i guess that some were better than others, but it was still nice. Anyway, they had lots of things such as professional dancers and singers, projected movies, comedians, cooking shows, and more!

The service was descent, our room was cleaned every day upon request, and staff managed to keep the facility clean, and private.

The facility was clean,big,and featured good service.It included many restaurants,2 pools,one for sports,and one for swimming,4 public hot tubs,an aqua lounge,a spa,nice rooms,working elevators,a library,a computer lounge,relaxing area by the pool,buffets,and ice cream bar,a doctor's office,an exercise center,and a lot more.

The children's program had a little room, that featured TVs,computers, video games, and arts and crafts, they even had different programs all day long, like playing sports, and more.

The excursions had a lot of variety from tours to beaches, even swimming with dolphins! Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Summit

The closet was a good size, the balcony was an okay-size,we heard a bit of noise from neighboring rooms but not much, fantastic view on wherever we docked, the hallway wasn't to bad noise-wise,and the security was amazing!
