Nice ship, but bad food
We are living in Norway, and this is our 4th cruice. We arrived in Barcelona day before cruice start, and left for airport by taxi immediatedly after disembarkation.
We stayed one night at a hotel in Barcelona center.
MSC Fantasia is an huge ship, and we were impressed by the fact that everyting were so clean. Evacuation drill went smoothly and well organized. We felt safe onboard, and registrated that lifeboats were tested once during the cruice.
We did not join special activities.
Crew were friendly and serviceminded.
Port/excursions: We got ticket for bus transport to town, and did not join organized excursions.
Stateroom: We recommend cabin with balcony. Our cabin was clean and tidy.
Dining: We were seated at the same table as a two swedish couples and one norwegian couple, non of us did like the food. Food was not good in main resurants. Honestly speaking the main restaurants were caotic, we had to More wait a long time for each course, and food was luke warm or cold and tasted like nothing. Seafood was disgusting. We skipped main restaurant once and entered the Tex Mex restaurant for an excellent dinner. Comparing with food experience onboard NCL Norwegian Jewel, the Fantasia food was very bad.
Entertainment: We watched the evening shows, but shows were meant more for italian people than us.
Embarcation and disembarkation went very smoothly. Less
